I have the first and only site with Doll Backgrounds online at the moment. There are other doll background sites but they are either photos of ceramic dolls or dollmaker sites that use small blank boxes as the background.

I began drawing dolls in early 1998, then making doll backgrounds for myself in the fall of 1999 and I started the background site in January, 2000 and I didn't realize I was the only site online with them until May of 2003. :):)

I have created all the designs you will see here and have put them throughout my entire web site to replace all the ones I had from other sites with one site exception (Angel's Craft) but I do plan to redo that site as well. I guarantee you will not see my backgrounds anywhere else on another background site unless someone has taken them and tried to pass them off as theirs [even with slight alterations]. My work is unique and original ~ all 100% mouse drawn originals ~ painted pixel by pixel by pixel. Every picture is painstakingly drawn by pixels in Microsoft Paint or sketched by me and then scanned into my computer and loaded into my Paint program where I do more pixel work on them. There are no exceptions. I have lots fun making these and I seem to be improving with practice ~ which is why I keep eliminating the old ones and replacing them. lol I am in the process of animating a few of my drawings using PSP for other uses. :)

I have just finished deleting several hundred backgrounds which I did not feel were up to my new standards to make room for replacements or upgrades so that you have some nicer ones to select from. I am also going through what is left of my doll backgrounds to upgrade/renovate/replace those pictures that I feel are no longer up to my new standards. arrggghhhhh more work lol Please be patient ... I have an enormous site to maintain ... (this is just one of the mini sites within it) ... it may take a while to complete the work but I feel the new look will be worth it.

Please if you use these DO NOT change my backgrounds in any way ~ respect the copyrights of others and DO NOT display these on any background sites or pass them off as your own. Do not rip my work apart. A link back to me is appreciated and I will have more logos for you to choose from very soon.

Don't attempt to steal bandwidth as I do change my backgrounds, names and pages periodically. Download these into your computer first and then use them where you plan. By the way, I have found another use for my backgrounds ... when you want to make your own email backgrounds in Outlook Express ... it will accept these ... and they are the perfect size to use. *winks* Just make a Doll Bg file in your computer to store them so that you can find them easily to use as email backgrounds.

Click on the link below and it will take you to the desired backgrounds. When you are on the page and want to copy them: back click on your mouse [right button for right handed people] and click on 'save image as' OR 'save picture as'.
