I have created all the designs you will see here and have put them throughout my entire web site to replace all the ones I had from other sites.  I guarantee you will not see my backgrounds anywhere else on another background site unless someone has taken them and tried to pass them off as theirs [even with slight alterations].  My work is unique and original ~ all 100% mouse drawn originals ~ painted pixel by pixel by pixel.  Every picture is painstakingly drawn by pixels in Microsoft Paint or sketched and then scanned into my computer and loaded into my Paint program where I do more pixel work on them.  I have lots fun making these and I seem to be improving with practice ~ which is why I keep eliminating the old ones and replacing them.  lol

Once again I have deleted all of my backgrounds that I did not feel were up to my new standards so that you have some nicer ones to select from.  I have many backgrounds under construction but they do take me a while to complete ... I will get them here as fast as I can but I am aiming for quality ... not quantity.  Please be patient ... I have an enormous site to maintain (this is just one of the mini sites within it) plus I have web sites for clients to look after as well as my own membership graphics site.

Please if you use these DO NOT change my backgrounds in any way ~ respect the copyrights of others and DO NOT display these on any background sites or pass them off as your own.  Do not rip my work apart.  A link back to me would be much appreciated and I have logos for you to choose from below.

Click on the link below and it will take you to the desired backgrounds.  When you are on the page and want to copy them:  place your arrow over the graphic and back click on your mouse [right button for right handed people] and then click on 'save image as' OR 'save picture as'.

Don't attempt to steal bandwidth as I do change my backgrounds, names and pages periodically. Download these into your computer first and then use them where you plan.  BTW I have found another use for my backgrounds ... when you want to make your own email backgrounds in Outlook Express ... it will accept these ... and they are the perfect size to use.  *winks*   Just make a Bg file in your computer to store them so that you can find them easily to use as email backgrounds.

I bought out a pixel group a few years ago called Pixie Doodles and now all of their graphics are used or shared by me as I see fit so don't be alarmed if you see something that has my name or their name on it, we are one and the same.

I originally began drawing dolls in late 1997 / early 1998 and made up some unique styles of 'little people' because I was wanting something different for my site that no one else had.  Other people said how much they liked them so a few months later I added a background site in the fall of 1999 and opened it in January 2000.  About a year or more later I discovered that what I made were called 'dolls' on the internet and then I found a couple of free doll sig sites where you can download specific figures to dress.  I did that with 5 styles they had ~ and then began to create even more of my own.  I didn't realize I was the only site online with them until May of 2003.  What you see here are similiar but not the same as the couple of originals I first copied.  Surroundings for the figures are totally unique as I designed the 'scenes'.  An untrained eye may not notice the differences but other doll makers have since some of these talented women with doll sites have actually given me awards for my work.  *smiles*  As far as I know I am still the only site online today with Dawlz, Wunderkid and Mini backgrounds.  There are other doll background sites but they are either photos of ceramic dolls or dollmaker sites that use small blank boxes as the background.
